Mizzou ranked among nation's best public schools.

The University of Missouri has been ranked among the United States' 50 best public colleges and universities in a report recently released by Business First.

Mizzou ranks 46th out of 499 four-year public institutions across the country, based on 22 indicators of academic excellence, affordability, diversity and economic strength. The report provides a separate breakdown for Missouri's public colleges. MU ranks first among the 12 Missouri institutions included.

Business First's study is based on the latest data from the National Center for Education Statistics and the U.S. Census Bureau’s American Community Survey.
